OBEGI Home’s Design Walk & Talk: A Morning of Movement, Dialogue, and Inspiration

OBEGI Home’s Design Walk & Talk, returned for its second season with a series of morning walks focused on fostering connection, creativity, and shared perspectives among architects, designers, and developers. This year’s event series was carried out in collaboration with Quooker UAE.

Set along the stretch of Jumeirah Beach, each session combined conversation with movement in a relaxed outdoor setting, beyond traditional formats, and concluded with breakfast at the Poliform Dubai showroom.

Taking Interiors Outside

At the heart of the Walk & Talk is OBEGI Home’s belief that design extends beyond interiors alone. The event framed design as a lived experience, shaped by movement and atmosphere.

Discussions ranged from current interior design trends and ongoing development projects to broader reflections on process, creativity, and the evolving role of architecture, design, and furniture in everyday life. The informal format encouraged genuine interaction, fostering a sense of openness and shared curiosity among industry peers.

Across the season, the Walk & Talk welcomed diverse studios and partners including Alpago Design & Build, BMA Studio LLC, Bond Homes, Boujee Contracting, Brix Interior, dhi Design Consultancy, Dubai One TV, INTERSPACE, Miele UAE, MKD Architectural Services LLC, MWM Studio, Step Into Detail, XBD Collective, and others from the regional A&D community, reinforcing its role as a consistent point of connection within Dubai’s design landscape.

Continuing the Conversation

Each of the four walks concluded with breakfast and refreshments, supported by Quooker UAE, offering participants time to continue conversations in a more settled setting. Insights were shared, ideas exchanged, and new connections formed, highlighting the strong sense of community that defines the Design Walk & Talk.

The Design Walk & Talk officially wrapped up the second season, marking the end of a chapter shaped by shared conversations and movement. The series continues to be a platform where design and conversation intersect, creating meaningful connections and a space not just to talk about design, but to experience it.

Thank you to everyone who joined, and we’re excited to welcome everyone again for Season 3.
